Adligenswil, Switzerland, April 2023 – Sekisui Alveo, European manufacturer of high-quality polyolefin foams, announces the appointment of a new CEO. Naoya Nishimoto was named President and CEO of Sekisui Alveo on 1 April 2023. In this role, he succeeds Kenichi Takaki, who has returned to Japan to accept a new challenge within the Sekisui Chemical Group.

Naoya Nishimoto joined SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. in Japan in 1993, starting in the Human Resources department. He later moved to SEKISUI INTEGRATED RESEARCH Inc., where he was involved in the research and planning of a new business unit. He subsequently moved on to SEKISUI S-LEC (S-LEC™ PVB interlayer) business units, and in 2018 he was appointed CEO of SEKISUI S-LEC B.V. in the Netherlands.

Naoya Nishimoto has taken the helm of Sekisui Alveo with a clear vision: “We aim to be the first-choice foam solution provider.
