The Sekisui Alveo plants in Roermond, NL and Bad Sobernheim, DE are ISCC PLUS certified. This globally recognised certification system for sustainability guarantees the careful use of resources and the reduction of negative environmental impacts throughout the entire supply chain.

• Full traceability of raw materials throughout the supply chain
• Resource-conserving production methods
• Use of renewable raw materials as well as biogenic waste and residual materials to reduce the use of fossil energy sources in accordance with ISCC PLUS standards
• Use of local suppliers to shorten transport distances

CONTINUOUS OPTIMISATION

We continuously monitor the emissions from our manufacturing processes and products. In this way, we minimise negative effects on the environment. By increasing efficiency in production, we reduce the use of energy and raw materials, thus contributing to environmental and climate protection.

Sekisui Alveo pursues the goal of “zero production waste”. For example, Alveocel foam waste can be re-used in the company’s own manufacturing process. Alveolit and Alveolen production waste can be repurposed into high-quality products locally.

We contribute to the development of sustainable industry standards and are involved in various industry associations, such as AFERA, the European Adhesive Tape Association, as a member of the Sustainability Group.
