Adligenswil, Switzerland, April 2024 Sekisui Alveo, European manufacturer of high-quality polyolefin foams, announces its new CEO Neil Beckhusen. Neil, who is also CEO of Sekisui Voltek, took over at Sekisui Alveo on 1 April 2024. His double CEO role is part of a strategic decision to strengthen overall synergy within the Sekisui Group and to capitalize on the collective strengths of Sekisui Alveo and Sekisui Voltek. 

Neil Beckhusen is the new CEO of Sekisui Alveo. Neil is currently also CEO of Sekisui Voltek, the Sekisui Group company that develops, manufactures, and distributes cross-linked, closed-cell polyolefin foams in the USA. While taking over the CEO role of Sekisui Alveo as of 1 April he will continue his role as CEO of Sekisui Voltek, now oversees both foam-producing companies. This strategic decision is intended to strengthen the Group’s overall synergy, leverage shared knowledge, and capitalize on the collective strengths of the two Group companies.

Decades of experience within the Sekisui Group

Neil Beckhusen has been with Sekisui Voltek for 34 years. During this time, he held positions in Production Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing Management, and Business Planning before being appointed President and CEO of the company. Among his many achievements at Sekisui Voltek are various process improvements, multiple key investments – including the current expansion that started in 2025 – profit improvements, and the implementation of Kaizen leadership. Under his guidance, Sekisui Voltek received numerous recognitions including the HPPC Presidents award for ESG management and the Sekisui Chemical Presidents Award for portfolio reform and reinforcement of profit structure.

Neil Beckhusen succeeds Naoya Nishimoto as CEO of Sekisui Alveo. Naoya Nishimoto has taken on a new management position within the Sekisui Chemical Group in Japan.
