More comfort in automotive interiors
Adaptable foams in many world premiers at IAA Cars
Lucerne, August, 2007 – Foams in automobiles often seem unspectacular. But especially in interiors, these soft, lightweight and flexible materials add significant comfort for passengers. As acoustical damping they reduce driving noise, as padding they make armrests comfortable, and as backing they give instrument panels an attractive look and feel. The lightweight materials also reduce fuel consumption. Polyolefin foam manufacturer Sekisui Alveo will be present for the first time at IAA Cars, to be held in Frankfurt from September 11 to 23, 2007 (Hall 4.1, Booth E06). The company will be showing many innovative products and developments for the automotive industry – several of which are built into world premiers to be unveiled at IAA Cars.
